New equipment for R&D mechanical testing
Etim is strengthening its mechanical testing laboratory with a new 150 kN INSTRON Traction machine. With its enlarged frame allowing the installation of a cryogenic enclosure (-185°C), it is equipped with a contactless video extensometer as well as all the acquisition means necessary for materials R&D tests (correlation video, acoustic emission, extensometry gauges, etc.).
Deployment of the AQUIWEB MES for managing the scheduling of the ETIM Laboratory
We have just put Astrée Software’s AQUIWEB MES into production, coupled with our ERP. Given the complexity of planning laboratory activities, which consist of a multitude of very small test batches, more than 6,000 operations need to be planned on average in the different areas of the laboratory. AQUIWEB, with its scheduling module, will allow us to optimize planning and deadlines for better visibility for our customers while dematerializing our paper test ranges. Nadcap audit successfully renewed for ETIM
Etim successfully revalidates its NADCAP accreditations for Non-Metallic Materials (NMMT). With 43 validated test codes + 2 manufacturing codes, ETIM demonstrates its high level of quality in testing services and its European leadership in the field of composite materials testing for the Aeronautic’s sector.
Etim extends its Airbus qualifications to include the characterisation of paint coatings

Cybersecurity : Etim upgrades to SILVER level
Etim strengthens its security in face of the Cyber threat. Thanks to all the CETIM group’s IT who have been working on this referencing since december 2022 with Etim and the support of BoostAeroSpace, organizational work, networking structuring and tested IT tools have been put in place. this made possible to obtain the move to SILVER level last october following the audit carreid out to the AirCyber reference.
COFRAC ISO 17025 surveillance audit
We inform you that the surveillance audit for COFRAC ISO 17025 certification (test accreditation No. 1-5242 – scope available on www.cofrac.fr) carried out in June 2024 was successfully validated: “confidence granted for the maintaining accreditation of validated Domain 93 tests within current scope”.
